We are now down to 20 hours left for my #3000Moments Kickstarter campaign
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3000moments/3000-moments
I am not sure what else to say at this point... THANK YOU SO SO much everybody. This has been and is amazing.  Because of your support we've learned a lot, been challenged a lot and are now able to spring forward new projects that I have always wanted to launch.  Frankly I cannot wait to get to you the extras and stretch goal items we met from far exceeding our goals.... From seeing incredible art from my guest artists to my activity book, calendar and bookmark!  It's all too exciting and overwhelming... and so that means we have much much more work to do!  And thanks to your support we'll keep going!

The last mad rush.. two days to go on the kickstarter campaign and we're done talking about it! Yeah!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3000moments/3000-moments

As for the Livestream.. well.. it turns out my current computer is just too old to run the Live stream software( I run XP on this machine, with super old versions of photoshop and flash MX)
So.. we're just going to take this opportunity to upgrade our systems... and hopefully do the Livestream later this week.
Instead of it, for today.. I'll just a bunch of small sketches that I'll just post randomly.
You can also ask me to draw things if you want.
I know it's not the same as actually seeing me draw, but I will get to that as soon as I can! So sorry about that.

Thank you for the feedback about the livestream idea..seems like it's a GO!
So.. on Wednesday , I'll be sketching live( on my computer, from home..) and will be taking requests during the day.. small sketches probably, fast ones.. but it should be fun.
It'll be on and off for most of the day. When I get the session set up, I'll send out a link!
Thank you.

Hey guys.. once again, THANK YOU SO SO SO much for all the support with the kick starter.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3000moments/3000-moments
We are at 85 000 plus with three days to go. It is so much more than we expected and we are so incredibly humbled, happy, surprised, flattered and  thankful for the huge support.
Not only can we do the book we were hoping to do, but we now have new options to up the quality of the book, probably add extra pages, include som of our favorite guest artists  thank you so much guys!!) , do activity books and a few more goodies.

With three days to go we were thinking that we could maybe reach 90 000  and add a few more things.
On Wednesday, the last day, I was thinking of doing a live stream for most of the day where you guys can log in, and see me sketch, draw, paint on my computer and ask me questions, ask me to draw things you want, etc etc.. It won’t necessarily be incredible drawings, but it will show my process and I can try different things as well… what do you guys think?
It’s a way for us to say THANK YOU and to finish the kickstarter on a high note.
In any case… thank you SO SO much everybody.
You are amazing.
Have a great day!

trying to raise 15000 to help us with making a big book of sketches and, now, seven days later, we are just shy of 50 000 dollars!! ..and we still have 3 weeks to go.
I just can’t believe it. THANK YOU SO SO SO much for all the incredible support . It’s mind boggling.
We are now thinking of even more stretch goals. Thanks to the extra funding, we are going to be able to add more page, have some fantastic guest artists and , if we do hit 65000 .. we will create some super fun activity book that we’ve been wanting to do for a while now( and of course, we will share these with you guys!)
Once again, thank you SO SO SO much for this incredible support.

Hello everyone,

First of all, many many thank yous to those of you that come here day after day to check out my sketches of the day. I launched this endeavor of mine with a very small email group of coworkers in 2005 and have been amazed to see it grow to where it is today.

Second of all, thank you so much for helping me reach my goal on KickStarter. I truly feel grateful and excited that I can create something really special around the 3000 Moments Milestone.

If you haven't had the chance yet to check out my Kickstarter, please go here...
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3000moments/3000-moments

Once again, thank you so much! Yesterday was the first day and I'm overwhelmed by the support I've already received and it makes me feel so happy to say that this is truly a thank you and a celebration of the work!

Cheers!
Pascal

3000 Momenst kickstarter

Today with a lot of excitement ( and a little bit of nervousness) we are launching our first ever Kickstarter project called 3000 Moments.
If you've followed me for a while, you'll know that I've published several sketch books over the years... this is the first one that will be a true compilation of my sketches of the day, with tips and tutorials on how I do my images, insights on how I think about my work, some stories about how I got in the industry, stories about my life and a few more goodies.
The book is a collection of the best daily sketches from the past ten years.
I hope you guys like this project and will help us with it and please share this if you like it.
Thank you
P.

What a life hu? #pascalcampionart. The stuff we've done, the places we've been.. I don't think I ever said it, but.. thank you for being there with me all this time.

Pop and I go fishing,,but not really

Pop and I go fishing,,but not really #pascalcampionart _Pop, how come we are not trying to catch anything? _ We are.. _ What are we trying to catch? _ A memory. _...hu.. we can't eat a memory Pop. _ It will feed your head when you get older . _ Pop? _yes. _ Are you ok? _ Never better. _Ok. _Ok. _ I love you Pop. _ I love you too. You know, one of the coolest thing about drawing , to me, is not just the fact that you can create new worlds, exciting adventures, and fun characters... it's also when you can recreate a memory. This scene never happened, this dialog, as such, never did, but it's all taken from bits and pieces of my childhood and this image , in a way, is one of the best captures of my relationship with my dad. I see so many artists, especially younger ones, always trying to imitate other artists, always trying to figure out how to draw like them, but so few actually try to create life. People will forget the drawing, but they won't forget the emotion in it if they can feel it. Try this guys.. pick a strong moment of your life, whatever that moment is.. it could be a break up or your first kiss, it could be something that happened with your big brother or your grandpa, the first time you traveled to another country..something that has impacted you, and create a series of images about it. The first one should be easy, but as soon as you get your first idea out , you'll realize that coming up with something new will force you to be honest with yourself, and you'll find that you can't just rely on what you know already.. you'll have to develop new skills just for that.. just to get that bit of truth out.. and you will start telling stories. Just try it.

Marvel Covers

Marvel Covers While we're talking about Disney and stuff.... And because I've been told that I should talk more about what I do outside of sketches, and, finally, because I got too busy today to do an actual sketch, here are some of the Variant covers I've done for Marvel comics... I definitely have a harder time with these because the dynamic style is something I still need to work on, but, boy oh boy.. this is SO much fun to do. So..let me see.. the first two are Guardians of the Galaxy , then Captain America, then Agents of Shield( LOVED working on that one), Thor, Cap and Iron Man( this one was cool because I had to base it off an old Jack Kirby cover and it was like being a twelve year old all over again), Wolverine and a new series that sounds pretty cool. There... That should be good for work news for a day..right?

Wonderground Gallery.

Starting tomorrow, the Wonderground Gallery in Disney Land will carry these three prints. http://disneyparksmerchandise.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/PascalCampionOutForASpin.jpg http://disneyparksmerchandise.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/PascalCampionPeterPan.jpg http://disneyparksmerchandise.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/PascalCampionDownBythePond.jpg ..If you want to know the little story behind them... the fire truck is because my son Colin loves firetrucks, Peter Pan is for Max because he's a bit of a dreamer( like his daddy) and I was hoping to do Jasmine for Lily because that's her favorite Princess, but that choice wasn't available.. the close second was Mulan( And Mulan with her dad of course!!)
