Something like this and that

Gosh.. so much is happening these days, so much has happened this year...

I'll probably make a post in between Xmas and new year's to sum up this year, but, it was an amazing year!
This drawing started like this, then when like that, and now is this.
One of those!

Have a GREAT Friday, and a Merry Xmas!

Cheers.

Have a MERRY Friday!

The chair kids are back for just this once!

It's been a while since I've done any chair drawings.
I just had a little bout of nostalgia I guess!
Anyhow..

Blue Tuesday

Couldn't figure out a better name for it..
This is actually a mural I'm doing for a beautiful week and a half old new born boy.

An interesting thing, technically, with this one. I did it almost all in flash.
I came to a point where Flash kept crashing on me( I counted 17 times on Sunday) because, I'm assuming, I had too many points. Especially on the Octopus part, which is why it's a lot barer than the rest.
I guess there are some limits to what flash can do.
I had to finish it up in photoshop, and that means, adding the light rays in the middle part. Not that I couldn't do that in flash on a regular drawing, but here, it just wouldn't take it anymore!

Friday sleeper

Just a quick one to wish you a GREAT Friday and let you know what you already know. I'm swamped right now, and will be for quite a bit. This time, there will truly be a lot less sketches of the day for a while.
BUT, I'll be back!

Cheers.

The Hustler

Have you guys seen this movie with Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason?
We saw this movie a few nights ago, and I was just awe struck by everything in it. The story, the picture, Paul Newman's performance, and most of all, the intense atmosphere that comes out of every single shot of the movie.
A GREAT movie to watch!

Have a great Thursday.
Cheers

Color doodle

I find it extremely hard these days to get some time to draw my sketches of the day.
I guess it's just one of those periods of time when a lot of other priorities are getting shifted.
Interesting.
Nevertheless, it's a beautiful day out there, and my favorite season of the year is starting.....(^_^)

Cheers, and have a GREAT DAY!

A scary Story

Once upon a time, there was an alligator running after a boy.

The end.

Funny how that works.

Kat and I just got back from a nice trip to LA, where I was surprised to find out that it gets cold there. I would never have thought!

Cheers.

These little tests are super fun to do! This one may not be as easy to get, but I had fun giving this little guy some sort of atitude!
The more I play around with that idea, the funner it is.
When I get a chance, I'll try to make a few of these that are a little longer, and more"constructed".
For the moment...have a GREAT Thursday!!( better than his at least!)
