Ho..and..Christina... as for my influences. I try to think of moods, before I think of the colors.. then the lights and shadows, THEN the colors. I know it doesn't quite answer your question, but for my influences, I look at the way some of my favorite painters lit their work..like Nc Wyeth, Sargent, Rockwell, Rembrandt, Larsson, etc etc...
