This one is only half way done, as compared to what I wanted to do..I imagined a whole herd of kids running, but, as usual, I ran out of time and need to get going! So, this will have to do for today!
This one was actually done this morning, but for some reason, I couldn't access my ftp, nor was I inclined to go digital...just one of those mornings! Oh well... Here it is anyhow, and I hope you guys had a GREAT Thursday!
(^_^) I was walking on the beach last evening, and it was beautiful. So many people out there despite the fact that the water is cold in San Francisco, but there were surfers, and families doing sand castles on the beach. I even saw some students do their homeworks facing the ocean. It was BEAUTIFUL. I know this image looks nothing like the Bay, but I got inspired by that!
This one grew very organically. I started out just doing the character on the left, cooking the tentacle like creature, and, poof, before I knew it, i had a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG drawing...all in yellows. It's funny how does things work, no?
Ok..for this one I really forced myself to use the color green. If you look through most of my drawings, you'll find very little "green" drawings, or just the color green. I've always find it difficult to work with for some reason, so I decided to not let that get in the way anymore and tackle that issue head on! I'm only OK with this image, but I learned a lot about green..isn't that funny?
Ok.. I admit it.. I got lazy! Originally, that was for Drawer Geeks, the theme was Cleopatra, I got busy, didn't do it, tried to.. and yadadi yadada.. that's my sketch for today!
Oh well... Have a GREAT THURSDAY!
(oh.. on a side note, I'm relistening to the AMELIE soundtrack right now, and it's still as fantastic as ever.)
