As a parent, we should be the ones teaching our kids, but sometimes I feel like I am a kid and they are my teachers.
I love being a dad, but sometimes I just get grumpy, tired, irritated...I try to control it but I don't always do a good job.
Things like this happen. I am not proud of myself in these moments but I don't also want to pretend like they don't exist.
I feel this is the type of stuff I'll forget has ever happened when MY kids have THEIR kids and I inevitably tell them how much
better of a job I did raising them.
