The contrast in the top one makes it easier to see and more clearly read the characters, but I really like the fuzzy feeling I get from the bottom ones.
The more orange-hued version (on top) works a little better for me, because it blends with the golden afternoon light you have coming through the trees. Brilliant as always.
This is a great piece. I like the shade of green on the lower one, but I think the puppets show up sharper and are easier to focus on in the warmer one.
I prefer the on on top. it fits the all around feel of the piece better.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! That the puppets are of humans makes me giggle.

ReplyDeleteI don't know much about art, but I like the top one better.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love your blog, your art is amazing!
I think it depends. You've captured Autumn in the top, and Spring in the bottom. They both work very well.

Autumn's my favorite time of year, but I love the summer-at-twilight feel of the second one. That one gets my vote.
