hi! i admire the beauty of all your illustrations (i finally was able to see almost all of them... not all though)
since i am an illustrator wanna-be-in-training i was wondering, how long does it take a professional to make a picture like that? and what should i be aiming to? i am a comfortable user of illustrator cs2 (have not had a chance to get to cs3 yet).
Dusik. This one actually, was a lot quicker than most others. It's much simpler than it looks, and the characters are really 'foggy". I think all in all it mush have taken about an hour and a half..?? I use to do these in less than an hour, but now that I use photoshop to finish them up, it takes longer.
I do the whole drawing in flash, export it and do the light and texture effects in photoshop.
