Under the Muffin tree

..Yes, i did a Muffin tree last year too, and it looked almost identical.
I used it as the opening page for the book, and I will probably use this one for this year's book as well.
And, in any case... who DOESN'T like a muffin tree?

Potential Oogeley Boogeley 3 cover? EDIT

.I'm doing some test for the cover for the next Oogeley Boogeley book.
Like the last two, it'll be a long format.
This is my first test. I like the idea, but I'll keep searching..if anything, this is a fun image!

For a little while here, I'll be transitioning from sketch of the day to , I dunno.. sketch of the every two day? week?...It'll be a little bit before I get a new "routine" going, plus, I'm getting ready for comic con, and i do have quite a bit of work to do as well ... as usual

Thanks for the ton of email on that cover. It was just a first idea, but the more I looked at it, the less I liked the color, and Tony's comment was spot on..not right for a cover. If I want to make more of an impact, I need something more"vibrant"
here's a redesign of it..still not finished but...

Sketch number ONE THOUSAND!! ( and 1001)

I now have 1000 sketches in my folder of sketches of the day! ( I actually have more than that, but, from the time I started numbering them for the daily dose of imagery that I've been doing for the past three years, this is it! 1000.
And, a little goodbye one for good measure...that makes 1001, like the Arabian nights!

This doesn't mean I'm abandoning the blog, or drawing everyday, it just means that I'll change the way I do things, and give myself some new challenges from now on!
