Monday sketch
My friend, Steve Ogden came up with a super cute idea for a story. This is only a sketch, and I hope that someday we'll have time to push it further, but, for the moment, that's a good sketch for a Monday!
Cheers.

Waterworld
For Bobby Chiu's ( http://www.imaginismstudios.com/journalism/journalism.html )
upcoming book on Underwater sketches.
Talking about Bobby and great artists..
You should all check out his site, Imaginism Studios. Not only is it jam packed with great art, but there's also a whole selection of online art classes, from digital painting to character designs, that is SO well worth your time. No matter how good you are or if you're just a beginner...(hmmm... this sounds just like a commercial, doesn't it?.)..you'll definitely get a LOT out of these classes.
Seriously, at least stop by his site!
Have a GREAT Day!
Cheers

Happy accident
I really had no idea for a title for this one
Another TV doodle.
For this one though, I' posting two versions. One with just the line drawing, and the other with some photoshop touches added to it.
Which do you prefer?
Also.

sketchy sketch again
well, whadayaknow? I'm still busy as heck, which is why I don't take the time to do color stuff these days.
I'm drawing/sketching theses at night( last night_ while relaxing in front of the TV.it's like a mental zen exercise.helping me relax after the long hours put into animations....
Seeing that I still have a few more weeks of fairly intense work, you just might see more of these!
Have a GREAT easter weekend.
Cheers

GO warriors!
These guys may not be wearing the warrior's jersey but they sure have the spirit!
I tried using lines for the characters this time, and having softer colors.
I'm pretty happy with the result. I have to give a big thanks to Valerie Morency for the inspiration!
Have a GREAT day!
Cheers

Boys will be boys
(^_^)
Ho god. It's actually hard to change hours this time around. I just want to go back to bed. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
I saw two films this weekend, and they were both pretty surprising. The first one was the Bank Job, and I was surprised to find that I liked it more than I expected to, and that Jason Stratham is actually a quite likable guy. I liked the twists in it, even if they were a bit predictable, and the overall atmosphere of the movie. It really did keep me interested from one end to the other. Nice movie.
The second was 10 000 BC.
I know, I know.. I'd heard all the reviews on it already..still, I had to find out for myself.
Here, the surprise wasn't that it was bad, it was HOW bad it was.
I couldn't believe it. I actually did fall asleep for a part of it, and I might have missed the "best " parts of the movie.
But it was one of those rare movies where you will laugh at the movie while you are seeing it on the big screen. Not when you rent it because you want to laugh at it, but literally, laughing at it's goofiness while you're watching it.
AND, to top it all, the special effects were only average. The tiger the mamoths, the ships, even some of the scenery looked like an 80's blue screen effect.
It's too bad really.
I'd usually say go see it for the fun, but, I was hoping for the movie to come to an end midway through, and I think I'd have walked out if I didn't think it was a good place to sleep!
Anyhow..
Have a GREAT day everybody.
Cheers.
